[SOLVED] 2 or 4 chips - 64GB

I am wondering if it matters if I use 2 x 32 or 4 x16 to get to my 64GB destination?

I have a ROG Maximus XIII Hero Z590 coming in a few days with an Intel i9 11th gen. I am looking at G Skill memory and don't want to spend more than $500 for the memory. Would love recommendations please.

For 64GB of memory, I'd recommend getting 2x32 GB sticks. That way, you can utilize dual-channel mode while still having 2 DIMM slots left for future upgrades. While 2x32 GB and 4x16 GB sticks will both get you 64 GB of fast memory, I'd recommend 2x32. If you need recommendations, feel free to reach out to me.
