[SOLVED] 2 or 4 sticks - is one better?

I'm setting up a new LGA 1200 board and CPU. I want 32GB of DDR4 3200 memory, but am wondering whether there's any advantage to 4 sticks of 8GB each vs. 2 sticks of 16GB each.

Typically speaking an X2 setup will perform better, particularly in regard to timings and OC/XMP settings.

Thanks, I like the idea of keeping things simpler. I thought I had heard somewhere that all other things being equal, using all of the DIMM slots maximized speed, or efficiency. Probably from so long ago that it no longer applies, even if it ever was true.

For simplicity's sake, 2 sticks of RAM is good enough for most people.
