2 OS in 2 drives

I have windows 7 ultimate on my ssd and that is my main drive with os from day 1. Now I have another hdd with windows 7 professional, I'll be putting this on my desktop. Will I be able to use Windows 7 Professional os system if I put that as main priority on boot?

This drive with Win 7 Pro came from another machine?
Good possibility it will simply fail to boot up in this new hardware.

Yes , the windows 7 pro came from my old laptop. The hdd works on my desktop, but never tried making the hdd as my booting priority to see if windows 7 pro work.

The laptop drive with Win 7 Pro actually boots up in the desktop?
If so, then making it the boot priority would probably work.

Yes, I can see every file I had previously in that drive. Including the windows.

Seeing every file is completely different than booting up from that drive.

Got it, thanks for the information. I might want to try booting windows 7 pro as priority but maybe later.
