2 pairs of ram

Hi, I just got my new ram (amongst other thing) and I was wondering if it is possible to run Hx316c10fbk2/16 with khx1600c9d3k2/8gx on a z68a-d3-b3? So far, they are not willing to work together but I might have put them in the wrong order, timing, voltage, etc.

Might not work together one is 1.5 volt the other is 1.65 volt I would remove the 2X4 set, install the 2X8 set and try that.
When you add more memory it might not work even more of the exact same memory.

That's what i'm doing so far. But wouldnt there be a way to slow the timing and reduce the voltage so that all 4 modules work together?

You can try to set the timings to the same 10 timings that the 2X8gb are rated for and 1.65 volts but more than likely just not going to work.
Sometimes it just dont work.
