I won't go into reasons why i have two systems.

Thing is I only use one and that is currently system two. I'm wanting to know any ideas of what I should do with the other one. I think selling it or parts of it would not be worth it. I can use parts from system one to with system two. Should I use the i7 as the base or stick with the i5 but better MB? Can anyone think of a reason for having two systems?

I've thought about sticking the GPU in system one and giving it to my wife to use for her design work and buy a new 1080 GTX for system two.
Or should I keep the 970 and buy I less pricy GPU for the i7?

I play games pretty much on system two. With some video editing.

Any thoughts ??

Yes. though there is little between them in single core perfomance and although the i7 is older it has 8 threads and can be overclocked.
