2 PCIe PSU slots for one GPU

Short story short, I have a GPU that requires 6+8 and a PSU with two PCIe slots but each is 6+2.

Can I use two cables and both slots on my psu to power one GPU?
I don't want my neighbours thinking new pope got elected and also lose that hard earned moniii

If it matters, PSU is be BeQuiet Pure 500w and gpu MSI 1070ti.

yes, you will need 1 6 pin and 1 6+2 pin plugged into gpu.

Yes, you can use your two 6+2 cable for the 6+8 power on the 1070Ti.
