2 pcie slot, which should i use?

hi i have 2 pcie slot for my gpu, should i use the nearest to cpu or the other for more airflow ?

What does the motherboards manual say? Usually it will indicate what slot to use for maximum performance.

doesnt say anything, only how to install by a image ;(, btw the mother is the asus formula ix, and right one i have on the farest pcie of the gpu, maybe is the same peformance is both?

The top slot is the only one that will run at 16x. The 2nd(middle slot) will only run at 8x when populated and the 3rd(bottom slot(only runs at 4x). So technically the top slot will off the best performance, but(depending on what gpu your are using) there will be little to no difference between a 16x 3.0 slot and an 8x 3.0 slot.

srry i didnt understand much but only i see 1 fps of difference xd
