Question 2 PC's to 1 monitor/tv

Hello all,

My question is simple. Is it possible to connect 2 separate PC's to one monitor/TV and have two display in split screen?

Basically my girlfriend and I would love to play the games we like (the forest, 7dtd etc) in bed on our TV as it's more comfortable and there's not enough space in our apartment to play next to each other.
