I'm attempting to add a second HDD to my old PC and I'm having trouble connecting the HDD to the PSU, and trouble mounting my HDD in the drive cage.
The SATA power cable coming from the PSU has three different places to connect to a drive (See the yellow circle in the attached photo. It shows one of the additional connections). Can I connect both HDDs to the PSU using this single cable since it has multiple connections on it? The PSU is a Corsair CX500M, and these are the power cables that came with it.
Second question: my drive cage uses a toolless adapters to mount the HDDs, but it only came with one (the blue plastic case around the HDD in the photo). Are these available to purchase somewhere else, or will it take some other type of universal adapter? Other suggestions?
