2 questions about my case

Hi guys, first of all after a week of getting this case http:// I realized that I didn't use any mobo standoffs, partly do to me forgetting about them and partly do to me having no issues screwing the mobo to the case, it was not loose or anything so stand offs didnt even come to mind. Is it really bad and dangerous? It has been a week of me using it, gaming and everything with no issues, so if with that particular case it doesnt matter, I would rather not go through the installation again.

My second question is, can I use these 2 fans http:// on the top of the case? I know that they say that it does support 140mm fans, but just looking at the top of my case, I cant seem to figure out a way of installing them because it has slits instead of holes where the 140mm would be.

Tnx for the input.

Yes you need to install stand offs, they keep everything from shorting out. You're lucky it keeps on working.but are you sure they weren't already installed? Looks like that in reviews. Are the little black parts at the motherboard tray in which the screws go.

Those fans can be used with the phantom 530 yes.The slits mean that the position of the fans can be adjusted a little <->.

Yeah, so ill differently check if the case already had the stand offs installed after I get off work. Still dont quite understand how those fans will hold in place through those slits? Will those rubber sticks the fan comes with just lock against the edge of the slits like this: leftend(stick<------freepsace----->stick)rightend ?

The rubber pins go through the slits and into the holes of the fans.Would maybe work better with screws, sliding fans back and forth with these rubber pins might damage them. The fans seem to come with screws too so maybe better use these, but is up to you.

This might help a little,

Ight, well hopefully those screws/rubber sticks wont be loose in that slit :D. Tnx for the replies.

Edit: Might as well ask which side up is the best? Air in the case or air out?
