2 questions regarding my card and 1440p

first off will my 280x OC edition be able to run 1440p resolution at high settings?

Also is the visual jump from 1080 to 1440 pretty significant on how it looks?

high at 50-60fps... i would think most games yes.

the jump from 1080 to 1440 is indeed significant. It looks fantastic... and you can get away without using any anti-aliasing on most games since the picture is already so crisp... or maybe just the bare min. anti-A if your card handles it.
