Hello there cpu enthusiasts :D

thinking to build a new ring around Ryzen 2700X. However, I really need the following 2 requirements to be met without any hassle whatsoever.

1) Be able to run macOS Mojave flawlessly under Virtual Box.

2) 4k Blu-ray ripping at least, since (from what I gather) playback is an Intel only deal.

Any clues on these 2 matters?

I thank everyone in advance.

Cheers

Nobody? :(

I' m thinking 4k Blu-ray ripping must be OS irrelevant... though I ain't certain.

I've just ripped my very first 4k Blu-ray on an Intel machine using MakeMKV and under Win XP to boot!

A 2700x with suitable ram should be fine to run a virtual macOS. To watch a 4k blu-ray disk on your machine though, you would need an optical drive capable of such, don't go making illegal copies though.

Thanx.

Bought Asus BW-16D1HT (capable!) and Ex-Machina(2014) 4k Blu-Ray, so no illegal copying here! XD

If you want to run MacOS flawlessly then get a Mac. A Mac mini isn’t very expensive
