I recently got Sapphire HD 6790 which requies two 6 pin PSU connectors, however my PSU (lc500h-12) only has one 6 pin.Is it possible and safe for me to use 2 SATA to 6 pin adapter to make up for requied power shortrage?

A seasonic s12II 520w is the best and cheapest safe option.
All of those psu's have low quality components and do not have the right amps to even give close to the wattage they say. Other people have extensively tested a bunch of psu's and lc power has always been a tier 4(avoid at all costs) brand.

Your psu is low quality garbage according to the specs I've found. Either get a new one or risk frying your pc.

None of those are recommended as all of them are very low quality.

I recommend looking at higher quality units if you care about your PC and or house.
