Hi Guys,

I have below setup with 2 screens and 2 computers. I want to have a clean setup, with minimum wires, but still be able to use both screens in both computers(not simultaneously). Today the setup work fine for my desktop, where screens are connected with display/hdmi port to the PC. But I am unable to find a good solution for the laptop.

Can you recommend a solution?

A KVM capable of driving two displays will do the trick. For example:

Hi COLGeek,
Thanks for your reply
I have also looked at a KVM swich, but I dont understand how the computers get the keyboard and mouse connection, if you plugin your USB dongle in the swich?

Yes, your keyboard and mouse communicate via a USB cable. The keyboard/mouse connect to the KVM and then a single cable goes to each connected PC/laptop from the KVM.
Hi COLGeek,
So I ended up getting this from my employer:

This works perfectly fine with both screens. I cabled with a USB-A from the docking station to my desktop PC and put the keyboard and mouse USB dongle in the docking station. This setup works fine with my USB-C connected labtop, but I am not able to use the keyboard and mouse in my desktop. Would you have an idea, how this could work?.

That isn't a KVM, so it may not do all you wanted. If onlt the desktop is connected to the device, does the keyboard/mouse work?I
I am unsure how to connect the desktop to the docking station, given the in/output of the desktop. The PCs will not be turn on at the same time, but the ideal solution would be to have the Keyboard/mouse USB dongle in the docking station, so I dont have to move it. If thats not possible, I can of cause live with that.
