2 single sticks of ram on dual channel for ryzen

I am really on a budget and i will buy a single stick 8gb 2666mhz. The question is can i add 1 more of the same type in the future because the kits in my country are like 30$ more for the 2x4gb kit.

Yep that'll work. However there is like a 5% chance that it could not work, even if they are identical models.

even if that happens, typically changing around the timings should fix that.
