[SOLVED] 2 speakers quit working on 5.1 set

I have a set of logitech x-530 5.1 speakers running onboard sound. Motherboard is Asus Tuf z370 plus gaming with realtek audio.

The problem is the 2 rear speakers will quit working. I uninstall and reinstall the sound driver and they will start working again but only for a short period. It is set to 5.1 in the audio page. When I do the audio test, sound will come out of the speakers but not when I play any music or movies.

Am I supposed to do something to get the sound working? I downloaded a couple different ones and no sound at all.
