2 SSD's connected but only 1 shows up

Hi guys so I got my new build! But one problem.. So I have a samsung 860 evo 250 GB connected through sata, and a WD 250 GB M.2 SSD connected on the motherboard. but only 1 shows up and I do not know which one it is... How do I get the other one to work? or check which one i am using now

What exact m.2 drive is this?

Often, one or more SATA ports are disabled when using an m.2 port.

Also, you really, really only want one drive connected while you do the OS install.
Really.

It's the MSI H370 Gaming plus, and a Western Digital Green 240 GB M.2. I already installed windows as I am using the computer now. I have the SSD connected on SATA 1 i think.. should I put it on SATA 2?

SATA1 port will be unavailable when an M.2 SATA SSD module has been installed in the M.2 slot

Connect it to a different sata port.

SATA 1 is disabled when using that m.2 drive in that port.

Power off
Disconnect the 860 EVO
Power up
Does it boot correctly?

If so, then reconnect the 860, in a different SATA port.

So I just reconnected the SSD to SATA 2 and it doesnt work.. also tried SATA 4

I am indeed running the WD green atm, with the OS on it. The EVO is missing..

Does it appear in Disk Management? Screencap of that, please.

Disk Management, not Device Manager.
It probably just needs to be Initialized, Formatted, and given a drive letter.

Just found out that the WD green is 223 GB and the EVO is 232 GB

Right click in unallocated area,
create new simple volume,
choose size, drive letter, ntfs file system, specify volume label, check quick format and click finish.
Done.

I cant seem to right click in disk management.. in an unallocated area
