This should be easy, right? I'm looking for a plastic tray with 12 holes in it. 8 for my 2.5" drives, 4 for mounting. I don't want a fan mount, a 3.5" mount, a gaping hole in the front of my case, fake fans, real fans, sideways connectors, noisy metal parts, more USBs, etc. I seriously just want the most basic, plastic, quiet, flat, simple, cheap thing and it seems no one makes one, so hopefully someone can help me. I understand SSDs make no noise, but my title is simplified, one of the drives is a Velociraptor, and they're very loud in metal mounts.

Take a look at this one...http://www.neweggbusiness.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9B-17-986-003&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleBiz-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleBiz-PC-_-pla-_-Accessories+-+Hard+Drive-_-9B-17-986-003&gclid=CPWIlYzcicwCFVVZhgodvGsH7A
We used a couple of them. They're OK if they appeal to you. And they're cheap enough.

I don't know what your reference to needing a device with "12 holes" is all about. These devices are pretty well standardized to be installed in a desktop PC's 5 1/4" bay. There are others on the market. Take a look at Newegg's offerings.
