2 sticks on triple channel

Hey all. Posting for the first time here.

I'll be building my first PC and am now encountering a problem.

The mobo im getting is the Gigabyte X85A-UD3R

I first thought I could get this:
Mushkin Enhanced Silverline Stiletto 8GB 2X4GB PC3-10666 DDR3-1333 9-9-9-24 Dual Channel Memory Kit

But then ... the mobo being triple channel.. thought of this:
OCZ OCZ3G1333LV6GK Gold 6GB 3X2GB DDR3-1333 CL9-9-9-20 240PIN DIMM Triple Channel Memory Kit


The 3x2GB kit is 15$ more expensive and 2GB less.

I dont know if its really worth it. I'm thinking of a low budget here.

You need to get the ram made for your motherboard...if you use dual channel ram on a triple channel motherboard it will revert to single channel.

Found a kit with the mobo i was gonna get for 30$ with 12GB ram over the 6GB kit..

WHY NOT!
