[SOLVED] 2 STICKS OR 4?

On a Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5 mb with 16 Gb capacity that I want to max out, am I better off with 2 x 8 Gb or 4 x 4 Gb sticks? Aside from being slightly cheaper are 2 x 8 Gb sticks going to be better/faster or slower then 4 x 4 gb sticks all other specs being equal? I read that 2 sticks are easier on the memory controller. I'm more interested in reliability/longevity then overclocking or speed.

4 slot for 16 GB usually mean the slot only take 4GB
