Hi all,

I am preparing for university, and I want to use the SSD on my current system as the boot drive for the new system, but as it has games on it already, I plan on bringing it with me when I come home.

Would it be possible to firstly have Windows 10 on the SSD that has data already on it? And would it also just be a case of boot order for having the two OS storage devices working?

Cheers,
Jack

You can safely run 2 OSs on 2 separate drives, I'm doing it with 4.
You have some choices to boot from one or other.
Change BOOT order in BIOS or you could use http://neosmart.net/EasyBCD/ on default BOOT drive and make a BOOT menu to choose OS from.
