So I've read up about this and I finally understand the concept of it. What I'm here for is to ask what other people would recommend for me.
I plan for this 2tb HDD to hold my games from steam, recorded videos, and programs.
Should I stick with default on this or go for 32kb or 64kb in NTFS? I know video game are big in file size, but will every single file in one game folder be affected by the unit allocation? For example, will a small save file waste a ton of space when using 64k unit allocation size
I am still seeking guidance, but what I am currently doing is splitting my 2TB into two 1TB volumes and using one of them as 64k purely for videos, while the other is default at 4kb for my programs and games. Does this seems like a good idea?
