Very new to computers, please bear with me.

1. Two things I got for Christmas are a multi tool screwdriver and an hdd. So I was screwing the hdd into my computer when I noticed that the screws were slightly sticking to screwdriver. I guess it was a magnetic screwdriver and the package never advertised it. Is my brand new hdd fried? Also I was using it on my motherboard as well, is that done too?

2. Here's a picture of the back of my hdd

I'm sure it looks just like every other hdd drive but I'm not sure. I have a ssd hooked up to my pc so I recognize on the left the power and the sata ports but I'm not sure what the port on the right with the prongs is for?

Solution
The port on the right is irrelevant to your use and the hardware should be fine although for future reference I'd try to use screwdrivers that are not magnetized. It's doubtful you could cause any damage with it though unless you had touched the screwdriver someplace that would have been likely to cause damage regardless of whether it was magnetized or not.

Erasing drives requires VERY strong magnets, not magnetic screwdrivers.
