2-way sli among zotac and gigabyte

I have zotac gtx 1070 amp extreme installed on my desktop. I recently got a gigabyte gtx 1070 G1 edition. Am I capable to perform SLI between these two cards to get more stable and high FPS at true 4k with ultra game settings ?
Below is my desktop configuration:
> Intel core i7 6700k
> MSI Z170a Pro motherboard
> 32 Gb DDR4 RAM

Hope it's the Gaming Pro or you just had a d'oh moment.. lol

You can SLI any two 1070's. You dont double VRAM tho and will only perform to the spec of the lesser model. But you need a board that supports it..
