2 x 8 pin on graphics card my PSU have 4 x 6+2

I got my new Graphics card GTX 970 Extreme but now i'm pretty much stuck and don't know what to do.
Along with the card i got two 8 pin to 4 pin connectors.. Am i supposed to have 4 x PCI-e with 6+2 to each of the 4 pin connections?
My PSU is a AX850

6+2 combine together to be 8 pin. 6+2 can be a 6 pin or 8 pin PCIE power connector.
Just clip the extra two pins with the 6 pin together.
Don't bother with the two 8 pin to 4 pin connectors.

6+2 is the same as an 8pin, so use 2 of the 6+2.

I couldn't make them fit so i went for the 2 x 8 pin..
I had a lot of troubles with the bootup. I managed to fix that by updating the BIOS.. somehow i have to do that manually with a USB :/
After updating the BIOS my new card is working perfectly! Some benchmark results i got already http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/4788348

The extra two pin have to clip together with the six pin before you plug it in.
