Looking to get into gaming. COD4, BF, Assasins Creed, etc.

I want to purchase three 1440p monitors (Asus PB278Q) - http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236294CVF

Would I be able to setup these three monitors in an eyefinity type configuration using two GTX 780s in a SLI configuration? - http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130918

Sorry for the NOOB question, been reading alot an trying to understand clearly before I make my purchase. Do you need to use the display ports only? How would I connect three monitors to two video cards?

Thanks,

Mike

Yes 2 780s will do more than required. 780s have enough display ports.

each has One Dual Link DVI-I, One Dual Link DVI-D, One HDMI, One DisplayPort.

so 2 you will have 2 ports of the above. 2x Dual Link DVI-I, 2x Dual Link DVI-D, 2x HDMI, 2x DisplayPort.

make sure you buy the compatible moniotors

like 2 HDMI and 1 DVI-I/D.

Hope this helps.
