no. if your psu does not have the needed connections, then it is not capable of powering the card, no matter what adapters you use. changing the physical look of the connection does not create extra power.

you need a new psu that can handle the system it is trying to power, plain and simple.

Really, that's exactly what's goin on. Adapters. If your psu does not have the correct connectors, it only shows 1 thing. The company has zero faith in that psu's ability to power that gpu.

Use them if you wish, but when your pc starts smoking and there's a definite burnt plastic smell in the air, you were warned. Bye bye $400 gpu. Bye bye cheap psu. Bye bye pc.
