20.1 widescreen or not?

so i was looking for a pure pure gaming monitor...i would play many FPSss on them and some MMOS and was thinking a regular monitor would be better than widescreen...what you guys think?..

both have same native resolution but wouldnt the none widescreen be better for fast fps games ??? i am just really curious about that...

i have the viewsonic one at home, and absolutely love it. i will probably never buy another non WS monitor ever again.
