20-pin USB to dual 9-pin USB connector?

So I have the below Asus motherboard and a Silverstone HTPC case. The case has the internal USB header, but my motherboard does not have a 20-pin connector for it and I can't for the life of me find what will connect the two. The mobo has USB 2.0 headers on the board, so the plug from the case needs to be split from a 20 pin, to 2 9-pins

I see the thread below, ... that seems to imply I take a cable and plug it into the 20-pin from the front USB header case, then plug the two USB 3.0 ends into the back of the motherboard...so I would have to open up a slot in the back of the case for it to work??
