$200.00 budget suggestions

Hello , a buddy of mine recently cooked his board while doing a case swap. He was badly in need of an upgrade anyway so moot point but a few clan members and I have decided to contribute towards a new cpu/board for him. What would be the best gaming cpu/board for under $200.00? The board needs to be ddr2 to so I was thinking about the X4 635 with a cheap micro board. He will not be oc and wants to play bc2 at native 19 " resolution. His gpu will be a 9800gt.

for $200, you can get a low end board with DDR3, as long as you don't mind only 1000 MHZ HT instead of 2600MHZ:

Thanks for the replies. How about as low as $150.00 ? The 635 runs around $100.00 and a cheap matx board 40-70. Is this going to be the most affordable solution that will allow him to play ?
