I want about 15-30% improvement (I always play on low-med btw, i don't care about graphics that much)

RX 570 4GB
+8GB RAM
A better processor (Too expensive)

Check Reddit for a used 570, I've seen them around $90 a few times in the last month and 1060 6GB for around $110.

i5 7400- There is one on eBay with a make an offer option, Offer him $80 and see what happens.

With a little luck, you could have both for under $200

rx 570 used is around 90-100.
i5 6400 used is 90-100.

Both can probably be had cheaper if you're patient and shop smart.

The gpu will give you a lot more fps for your money. And the extra vram will definitely help with overflow to system memory. A single 8gb stick is fine to be honest. Dual channel is mostly for the bandwidth. Makes multitasking slightly snappier, that sorta thing. If you're just playing games, go for the i5 and the rx 570.
