System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming and preforming computational analyses

Are you buying a monitor: Yes but not included in budget

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: None

Location: Canada

Parts Preferences: Would prefer an Intel CPU and a 2070 (or 2080 if within budget). Also would like for it to have an SSD along with and HDD.

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: No

Few issues.

Hyper 212 is not enough for a stock 9700k, let alone one that you may overclock.
No reason to get one smaller SATA SSD and then an HDD at this budget. You can likely get a large 1 or 2TB NVME ssd at this price.
PSU is old and not great.
Case has very poor airflow and no room for a good aio.
