Opt for a 7970 GHz instead, you just have to manually activate physx in games that use it(not that much)

seriously, unless you do Video editing or something of that sort, 4GB Vram is a lot, 2GB is already more than enough and the 7970 GHz gives you 3 Vram and much better performance over the 670 and 680.

and you are pretty crazy wanting to spend $2000 on a build that doesnt have any upgrade points. doing a $1300 will suffice for performance and not wanting to SLI /CFX

there is no need for one right away, if you want to upgrade your computer for not that much money then getting another GPU(of the same kind) will provide you with a great boost not to mention the GPU would be cheaper by the time you would need it

Keep in mind that only some games use PhysX, and some of those barely use it.

There has also been benchmarks showing that using low-end GPUs to run PhysX will LOWER your FPS. Unless if you use a mid-high end GPU, you're better off OCing your processor.

I only have two things to pick a beef with you on...

The first was that I didn't see an ssd, but never mind, you have the best in the market. That drive is only beaten by the larger versions of it's own model.

That being said, the beef I do have with you is serious. Don't get a closed circuit water cooler like the H60. Get either a Hyper 212 EVO (which is more than enough for overclocks up to 4.4GHz or so on that i5) or a Noctua -D14 (Which'll get you up to about... 4.6? 4.7? It depends on just how lucky you got with your chip, but honestly, the 4.4 is more than fast enough, and that's where those chips like to settle, anyways.)

Here's why you want air over liquid:

An air cooler has fewer moving parts - this means the liquid cooler is more likely to break.

When an air cooler breaks, it has a huge metal heatsink to let the chip throttle itself properly - when a liquid cooler breaks, you're screwed.

If a liquid cooler fails catastrophically, it will end up spewing liquid ALL over your computer. Even if it happens to be non-conductive, it'll take days and days to clean up.

I do have an ssd like I said im a noob when it comes to building but im still smart

If you want to use the extreme physX settings then yes you want to SLI right away.

I don't care what anybody tells you. If you want to max out all games on a single monitor @1080 one 670 will do there is a few games it won't cut it though.If you plan to use any higher res or a 120hz monitor you'll need two cards.

That is also what people said back then when buying something like a 6870 and now you can just buy the second one for cheaper now and have performance next to/more than high end cards.

Rosewill has gotten better in their PSU build so less failure rate so far but you are right, i am not a big fan of them and would rather get something like an XFX, Corsair, Seasonic, and so much more.
