Hi everyone, I am confused a bit about new computer, which I'm going to buy. So, in the youtube, there were some CS:GO gameplays with exactly same PC as I'm looking for and that PC managed to get about 200fps. The problem is - I have pretty old 60Hz monitor. Will I have problems in the game? Smooth gameplay is all I need, no lags by the smokes or molotovs, etc. Biggest part of this - I don't really have enough money for normal sized 120Hz monitor. Need your thoughts guys and ladies. 😉

Solution
FPS and monitor refresh are totally different things (unless you have v-sync). Lag and such is dependent on FPS alone, so as long as your PC is fast it doesn't matter if you have 60hz or 144.
Essentially what happens when your GPU is rendering more frames than your monitor can handle is that it throws away the extra frames. Meaning when the monitor has completed displaying a frame it takes whichever frame is rendered next. So for instance the monitor just finishes displaying frame_0, and is ready to accept the next frame, the GPU finishes rendering frame_4 and sends it to the monitor, in this example in the time it took for the monitor to display frame_0, the GPU rendered and discarded frame_1, 2, and 3. This way you have the "freshest" representation of the game space being displayed on the monitor.
