Just out of interest how much would the new AMD Athlon 200GE bottleneck a RX 580 ?


I tried this combo on the ,,Bottlenecker'' and it got a score of 28% bottleneck .

2. There is no "number" you can put on the amount of "bottleneck".

Okay then , but would the CPU bottleneck the GPU or not ?

I mean ud be litterelly pairing a 60 €/$ cpu with a 200+ €/$ gpu .

1. You've not specified which RX580...4GB or 8GB.
2. You've not specified in what use?
3. The definition of "bottleneck". A much misused term.
All it really means is one of the parts is running at 100% (or thereabouts) under some load and use case, and the other parts are not allowed to reach their full potential.
It does not "slow the other one down".

Like putting racing tires on a Prius. You can't use the full 200mph potential of the tires, due to the weak engine.


For instance...in a CPU intensive game, you'd see a greater difference than in a GPU heavy game.
