Hello, does anyone know where I can find a 200w 12V output ac/dc Adapter? Ive found plenty of 19.5V output. What I need to power is this: PicoPSU

Or does someone who has better knowledge of how this stuff work know if I can achieve max PSU power on a lower power adapter?

Thank you very much

where do you live ? , also pico power supplies have 19.5 V versions. so you dont need to rush and buy 12V one.

I live in Texas, I have a 200W 19.5V PicoPSU, and it runs well. I use a 230W 19.5V AD/DC Adapter with plug adapter as well. But it took 3 weeks to get here from china, so I ordered the 12V version which took 2 days. Now idk how to get max power out of it. I see a lot of people purchase a 120w adapter with it. but, with my limited understanding of the concept, i feel like that would limit the PSU to 120W of load power. My build pulls up to 194w at times.

found this

192w AC-DC Power Adapter, 12v 16A

http://www.mini-box.com/12v-16A-AC-DC-Power-Adapter

looking further.

and you are right , you get what the power adapter gives you .

I did find one, made in and shipped from china, costs $70... who knows how long to ship. Also i think you had to order a minimum of 50. but i'm not sure if i'm recalling that correctly. I've seen that 192w before. I baffles me that manufacturers are putting out these 200 and 250W 12V PicoPSUs without there being a readily available adapter solution to make use of those extra Watts

Actually that 200Watt might not be continuous watt . but the maximum peak only. you need to read the specs carefully.

Almost positive that is just the peak. it doesn't say much in the PSU specs. However, I have my 19.5V Version easily powering a i7 4770k with GTX 750 TI. I occasionally use it for gaming and i've not had any random shutdowns or crashes
