I'm planning to wait untill the maxwell cards come out in 2014 i just have a crossfired 7770 can max any game out right now but who else is planning on waiting for maxwell since its suppose the next gen video cards since its in the area of when next gen games start coming out or is someone just going yearly and getting a video card every year and yes i know the 7770 is amd but ive always wanted a nividia card

its a discussion who is waiting for the next architecture from nividia then a redesigned architecture from nividia or who is going AMD for their next card due to them gaining traction

AMD will ERUPT THE VOLCANO =) thats their next gpu, Haswell is intels Next CPU and i think the new AMD cards will be 9000 series, the 8000 series is gonna be only 2 relabels of previous AMD cards and 2 new mobile(i think), the 8000 series is gonna be OEm only. Although i think the new Nvidia GTX 770 and 780 is releasing in a week or 2 at the end of this month. ive read different things but its reasonable to believe the new GTX 770 will be a lil faster than the HD 7970(maybe 15-20% on average) and the new GTX 780 be maybe 30-50% faster. although later this year when the 9000 series release they are supposed to be pretty superior to the GTX 770 and 780. The 9000 series should perform about 30-50% faster than the 7900 series for the same price.
