[SOLVED] 2019 March gaming budget pc Build ideas ?

Hey this is my build and I am looking for a entry level gaming PC to connect to my led tv for casual gaming and multimedia stuff any ideas? if m going wrong with it?

I5 9400f Cpu
Gigabyte oc 1660ti
Corsair 2400mhz lpx 8gb ram
1tb Hdd 240gb m.2 sata sdd
Corsair cx 450
Case gigabyte ac 300w
Mobo- b360m gaming hd gigabyte

Should I go with this or wait for the Navi and ryzen 3000 launch from team red would it be worth the wait

That system would probably work ok but 450W is cutting it close and I think you may be able to do better for the price.

If you need something now, then waiting doesn't make any sense. If you're in no rush, then waiting a bit to see how things compare/impact pricing of existing products certainly won't hurt.

System is solid enough, although the motherboard may well need a BIOS update to support the 9400F.

I am in no rush but this is my first build so I want it to be perfect for the money so I can probably wait if those components are worth the wait as budget is a concern and there are a lot of the tech community saying Nvidia is charging way too much for these new GTX graphic cards and even intel is kinda over priced atm

If it needs to be smaller you could change the case to the Node 202 and then get a SFF PSU.

Hey I am building my first rig and I wanna make sure I get the best bang for the buck in my budget around that's 800$ should I buy these new Turing cards or wait for Navi even the better 3000 processors are coming so any opinions on that folks?

But I wanna know this is a mini itx case from cm and I wanna install 2 hdds one from my old laptop and 1 new 7200rm 1tb Hdd with a m.2 SSD would that be possible in this cabinet and also is the cable management and cooling alright in these small cases as I was planning for a mid tower for good cooling purposes

As long as it will fit a 2.5'' & 3.5' drive then it will work with those parts. Do you know which model CM it is?

Yeah I saw the model you shared in the PC part picker list it's a mini itx case and that's my question is the cooling good in that case as it's a mini itx case and would that case (cm elite 130 mitx) would be able to house my laptop Hdd and another one ?

The cooling is decent, when you choose smaller cases you sacrifice some cooling and unless your room has a ridiculous high ambient temp both CPU & GPU should stay well within safe temps.

Also can I use my old laptop 5200rpm Hdd in this case and setup?it's smaller then a desktop Hdd so I probably would need some caddy or enclosure with it I suppose as all my previous data is on that Hdd and I want it to be in my new PC without loosing any data as it is?and is it advisable to do so?

It supports 2.5"/3.5" & 5.25" drives so it shouldn't be a issue. As for your current drive when you make a new build you need to reinstall the OS so if you do that on the SSD you should be able to access files from your current HDD.

I'd personally go for the Ryzen 2600 or the newer 3600X when it is available. You will have better expansion and upgrade opportunities available than if you purchase the 9400F. Plus the AMD Wraith cooler is way better than Intel's included stock fan if that's any incentive.

Is this justified even if I just want to do gaming on 1080p on 60fps for the next 4 5 years without streaming or rendering or any of that extra thread needing stuff?

Yeah for your uses the 2600 is a far better buy than the 9400F is. You can usually buy a 2600 / B450 for around $300 right now, even less if you have access to a Micro Center.

I'm not sure if Navi is going to bring anything new to the table. AMD's track record on GPUs in recent years has not exactly been what one would call "good". I don't know when the Ryzen 3 series will be out but the lineup sounds very promising.
