Question 2020 MacBook Air - Random boxes flash across screen

I bought the new 2020 MacBook Air last month since I'll be working from home for the foreseeable future. So far, I've loved it. However, randomly throughout the day, these colorful boxes will flash across the screen in a checkerboard pattern really quickly and then go away. Some days it won't happen at all while other days it happens fairly frequently, so I'm not sure what the cause is.

I've already tried restarting, updating my computer, resetting the SMC and PRAM, doing hardware diagnostics, and even a factory reset all to no avail.

Complain at apple, they'll throw you a new one and you'll be on your way.
