Hello, I'm having an interesting problem. My computer keeps crashing randomly. The screen will freeze on whatever it was displaying and a buzzing will ensue. It occasionally happens when I play games, rarely when I'm not doing anything, and VERY OFTEN when i'm watching Netflix. With Netflix, it'll happen usually between every 10-45 minutes, and I have to reboot it. I have run diagnostics tests and stress tests and cannot manually reproduce the results. The only error I get is using S.M.A.R.T. which shows an error at 204 Soft ECC Correction Rate for one of my hard drives. Could this be the problem? I googled it and other people who have that error don't seem to have the types of problems i'm having. The hard drive that is having the problems is an older Corsair Force GT 120 GB SSD. My other hard drive, a Crucial CT 512 doesn't have any errors. Does anyone know if anything else could be causing the problem, or is it time to dump the old SSD?
Thank you very much.
My specs:
i7 4790k
2x8 GB DDR3 2133Mhz
Radeon 280X
Two HDs mentioned
MSI Z97 Mobo
1200w Coolmax PSU
