Thank you

before anything else, whats your budget?

personally if you are on a tight budget, id suggest going for the amd route, since its true that the 9600k would be faster the main reason id suggest the 2600x is that when the new Ryzen 3xxx series of CPUs would come out you can upgrade to it with just a BIOS update.

intel really sucks at backwards compatibility, meaning youll have to buy a new motherboard to properly support new gen CPUs.
plus the 9600k is around 50-70USD more expensive than the 2600x, you could use that extra money to get a better GPU/Motherboard.

The GPU choice is largely irrelevant, just Google 9600k vs 2600(x) and there are loads of comparisons out there.

Personally Id pick the 2600. It overclocks the same as the 2600x and has far more headroom for the future. Although the 9600k does perform better there are several cpu heavy games that when pushing higher fps cause the 9600k to run at or close 100%. It is a guess but history shows cpu's with more threads do better over time, just look at older i5's vs their i7 counterparts.

After a lot of research i choose a 144hz 1080p free-sync monitor and i did a build around it.
I think rtx 2060 meet my interest (60fps+ in games for 5 years, preferibly a good quality). I know the monitor is free-sync...
I was wondering if it's better a ryzen 2600x or a i5-9600k. Can you give a check to my two builds?
Ryzen:

Intel:

the ryzen 5 2600x build is 1267€, the i5-9600k build is 1419€. A 12% more €

I have no a precise badget

Thank you very much

If I would to save my money for the next build (5 years from now), i could go with the ryzen 2600 and after go with the next gen ryzen? Or simply wait the 5 years? I don't have a precise budget, but i would go aroung 1200€ (tax excluded). Look at the bottom, i replayed with two possible builds with the prices.
Thank you

seeing you can go around $1,600 on your intel build,
going for AMD you can go for a RTX 2070.

mind you PC part picker gets its prices from different vendors so pick ones that have the best deals and are reliable/fast on their delivery.
you can even go for a Cooler Master H500P - Mesh which is an awesome case and is good looking too. (there are two versions go for the mesh one, dont buy the original version.).

my advice is that go for the best you can buy atm, but also dont force your budget that you have to affect actual life necessities just for a pc hahahaha.

2700x is best cpu for gaming Ryzen has to offer + has a decent cooler.

3rd gen is almost here so id consider your plan you sorted in your PM and not spend too much on a Ryzen cpu if you need the system now. If not need immediately, wait for 5xx series motherboards.

They'll be priced in line with current AMD and Intel chips based on relative performance. To do otherwise is a good way to not sell any product.

500 series mobos may be pricey at first though, but if you don't want/ need things like PCIe4.0, then 300 and 400 series boards can take Ryzen 3xxx with a BIOS update.

It just arrived the monitor, i order it 1 month ago, the only thing i bought. I just understood the 1080p on 23,6" it's not really good. I used to play on a 22", but now the definition it's really low. What do you suggest me? Pass to 1440p? Oh my...the prices will be so higher than now (not only for monitor, but it's something like a must to pass to a rtx 2070).

P.s. i can give it back free with amazon.it
I have never used this service, so it could be a nice day to try it
