Question 2060 low fps in valorant

i have this issue not only with valorant i have with the most esports games i can't have more than 130-150 fps and it's annoying

spec:
RTX 2060
ryzen 5 2600x
16GB 2667mhz
MSI B450 Tomahawk

In these games it’s the cpu/RAM that usually dictates the fps. Do any cpu threads run close to 100% while playing these games.

Total cpu usage is meaningless. Are any individual threads close to 100%? It only takes 1 thread near 100% to limit fps while other threads remain idle or with lower usage.

Use an app like MSIAfterburner and select it to monitor each cpu thread. There are lots of guides on YouTube for MSIAfterburner.

Run userbenchmark and share the public link to the results. It might point to anything that is underperforming.

It not too slow but faster RAM might give a few % more fps. With 2000 series Ryzen some people report they cannot run faster than 2933/3000mhz so you are not that much lower. However it is possible your RAM is not configured correctly, running userbenchmark and sharing the public link would highlight if the RAM is not performing as expected.

I did the benchmark and all seems good i’m out now when i come back i will send the link

It not too slow but faster RAM might give a few % more fps. With 2000 series Ryzen some people report they cannot run faster than 2933/3000mhz so you are not that much lower.
