About to buy a GPU in black Friday and there is a £60 price difference between the 2060 and 2060 S.
I will be aiming for 144hz 1080p and I am not going to do 1440p or 4k. Which would be better for games like R6, Arma 3 and other eSports type games. Another thing is I would like to keep it for at least 5 years. Let me know which one would work better for my needs.
Cheers :)

Little bit over my price range, want to spend roughly £350 (price of the 2060 s)thanks for the help though :)

I suppose my point was, if the XT runs at that temp and decibel level then the 5700 (non XT) version would, you would think, be cooler and therefore quieter. And supposedly with a BIOS flash, you canbget XT performance from the 5700. £350 for the Pulse 5700.

Just an option.

Thats quite interesting, is it possible you could link me a few GPU's (any of the 2060's or 5700's) i would like to stay below £350 if possible. Thanks for the help :D

I would get the RTX 2060 Super as there is a very decent performance bump with the Super version and it is a fairly hefty discount as well...

This ASUS Dual is a tiny bit cheaper from Scan at £344.99
https://www.scan.co.uk/products/asu...6-ray-tracing-graphics-card-2176-core-1470mhz
And this Gigabyte one is also good at the same £344.99

Do these come with Modern Warfare, I can save £50 buy getting it in a bundle which is why I thought they were cheaper.

You can get an RX 5700/XT for the same prices as those cards (~£300/£350), which outperform the 2060/Super respectively.
Not an Nvidia fan boy, but I have heard horror stories of poor temps, fan noise and driver issues. Is it possible you could link me a 5700/xt that doesnt have the temp or fan issues (driver issues will fix with time hopefully) again possible to be under £350, thanks for the help :D

but I have heard horror stories of poor temps, fan noise and driver issues.
I think a lot of that was probably referring to the reference coolers, which weren't great. The MSI "Mech OC" 5700/XT seem like decent budget-ish options though. More premium models will cost a bit more than the 2060/Super, but remember that the 5700/XT generally perform a bit better so price to performance will likely be at least on part.

Are the Bsod issues fixed yet?

I hadn't heard of any widespread issues with BSODs with RX 5700s. I did a quick google and the top results all seem to be from around August, which suggests to me that they were new release bugs that were since ironed out.

Keep in mind that you will find reports of people having issues with every card ever made. It can be very difficult to determine which reports are due to systemic issues with the card, and which are just isolated cases of bad luck.
