HI all,

Im a bit torn between these two options as they are almost the same price.

  1. https://mdcomputers.in/zotac-rtx-2060-super-mini-8gb-gddr6-zt-t20610e-10m.html
  2. https://mdcomputers.in/sapphire-radeon-rx-5700-xt-8gb-gddr6-21293-01-40g.html

My main concern here is that I'm stuffing this all into a Mini ITX case and I've heard that overheating would throttle down the performance of the card. I understand the 5700 XT is a better bang for my buck, but what happens if it overheats? Would that advantage disappear?

Paring this with a ryzen 3600. My primary use case is for gaming - mostly racing games like Forza , Project Cars, Grid, F1 .. bit of GTA and minecraft as well.

The zotac mini is a big no. I have the twin fan version the cooling solution is terrible. Hits 83 degrees in like 10 minutes under load. Not just my experience i spoke to a lot of guys with the same card. It needs a crazy case with shit ton of fans or open bench to cool down. Run while you can!

I would. Because I know how to. Especially considering XFX 5700 is $289 today on NewEgg.
https://www.newegg.com/xfx-radeon-rx-5700-rx-57xl8mfg6/p/N82E16814150822
Discount might end tomorrow, btw.

If you carefuly follow guides on how to unlock 5700XT out of 5700, you'll be fine.

It will be a bit loud, though, like any other blower GPU. To remediate it you really need 3 extra fans for your case: 1 bootom + 2 on top.

Unfortunately the price on newegg is really not an advantage for me because the cost to ship and pay customs to India is so high that any advatage of the sale value is lost.

Hence im forced to use the website i've linked above (or amazon.in)

Anyway, the price difference between the XT and the non-XT isnt that much , so putting that aside im again just about stressing on heating issues (and also that the card should fit in my case)

Im getting a lot of mixed comments regarding blower vs twin or tripple fan coolers. On one hand I do believe blower style is better suited for a Mini ITX case like mine, but in almost every review I see that the blower isnt good enough to keep the card cool.

Noise may also be an issue (I've looked though https://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/amd_radeon_rx_5700_and_5700_xt_review,11.html )
Now im not sure how noisy "40 - 50" DBA) is actually ..
forexample Im currently running a zotact 1050ti mini, personally to me i've never been bothered by its fan sound. Is it comparable to that or more? Is there any video of this where I could probably compare noise levels?

Just overall, I dont want to be spending my money only to realize that i could have got a better performance for my money.

For me Price vs performance is absolute priority, Thermals, Noise, asthetics etc are secondary for me - and so long as it doesnt affect performance, i'd gladly ignore it
