Specific driver issue, or problems in general?
Gpu drivers are like wine: they get better with age. And being that 20-series are more of a refresh of the 10-series gpus, the source of their drivers are 3 years old.
AMD's Navi is quite young, and will take time to iron out most of the bugs. But they(all companies) rely on 'early adopters' to help them optimize said drivers faster.
AMD has just about always been on the slow end with their drivers due to finances. The larger companies, such as Nvidia and Intel(when it isn't being a lying arsehole), can afford to send teams to the different software and game devs to optimize drivers to work with their hardware.
Even though AMD has been kicking ass in the value market, if you look around, you may notice that people with Intel/Nvidia oriented builds appear to deal with fewer problems -
I'm not going to say they'll be completely devoid of problems though... they're just the more stable platforms.
