Would there be much of a difference in performance between a 2060 and a 3060ti on a 165Hz, 1080 monitor?

2x8 (16gb) 3600mhz RAM
x570 i aorus pro wifi

It depends on what games you play because if your current GPU can handle the games your playing there no point in uprading but if your planning to upgade your monitor to 2k-4k then i can see point of it being upgraded!, 3060ti has got more speed and much better and if you feel the need to buy one then go ahead

That's why I said roughly. I was going off memory and did not want to overshoot the actual performance creating an inflated expectation of performance.

Also to add onto the questions, you have the benefit of the new Nvidia technology, which may appear in the future, this includes things like Rebar etc which isn't available on 2000 series GPU's . If you think you need more FPS in demanding games then go for it
