At one point of the review it says "The drivers for the Max-Q version were optimized for efficiency (and not performance; only for Max-Q models)". However could this mean that Nvidia also released a separate set of drivers that were more for performance than efficiency (despite the lower power consumption compared to the desktop relatives).
At current my under load while gaming my CPU (i7 8750H) hits around 80C (avg across all cores) whilst my GPU rarely ever goes above 65C.
