[SOLVED] 2070 super low fps

so I have a 2070 super with a ryzen 7 2700 and 32gb of RAM. In MW Warzone I get around 75 to 85 fps while closing in on 100 in the gulag. In horizon zero dawn and AC Odyssey its even worse around 50 to 70 fps on average. Im playing on low to medium settings 1080p. I have seen much higher benchmarks with people getting 100fps on warzone in 1440p so what am I missing?

From the userbenchmark we can see that you have not turned on XMP (DOCP for AMD boards) and that your Ram is running at base 2133MHz. Also, you have 3000 CL15 RAM and not 3200 CL16.

Turning DOCP on will increase performance for sure.

Your RAM is running at 2133mhz. Go into the BIOS and enable XMP/DOCP.

Yeah you're right thats my bad I meant to buy the better ones. So will enabling xmp and boosting the ram a bit make a noticeable difference?

It should. Ryzen 2000 series CPUs are known to perform far better with faster RAM. I think the best performance was 3200 to 3600 if I remember correctly. There are plenty youtube videos showing the difference in performance.

So just played a few games of multiplayer on MW after enabling xmp and got around 130 to 144 fps so it helped alot!

You can always try if your 3000 CL15 RAM runs stable on 3200 CL16. That should give a minor bump in performance, but might not work. Many sticks can do it, but ymmv.
