[SOLVED] 2070 Super not running at full clock speed idle or in-game/3dmark

Purchased my Aorus 2070 Super last week and it finally arrived early this morning, after a few hours of enjoying games and benchmarking I noticed it was only running at a constant 1410 MHz on the core clock, this is at idle and in Battlefield V, 3DMark Time Spy & Escape From Tarkov (all max settings, 1080p).

I have spent a good hour or two going through the control panel and changing only the things that might 'fix' it including 'Power management mode' under 3D settings, even applying an overvclock doesn't seem to change it and GPU-Z says it's max clock should be 2025. Honestly I'm not really sure what else to try... would anyone among this forum happen to know my answer? would appreciate the help, thanks.

Did you use DDU to uninstall previous drivers and install the new ones? If not, try it first.

Have the MSI afterburner and GPU-z open together. Click the question mark in the mid right of GPU-z next to PCIe x 16 3.0 @ x 16 3.0. Then click Start Render Test. Did the core clock change?

You can also try what I suggested with GPU-z. If the core changes and goes above 1410 your GPU is fine.
