[SOLVED] 2080 gaming trio stuck at 1515 MHz

In the past month i have noticed a strange behaviour, my gpu on idle instead of running at 400 MHz and lower temperatures of course, it's running contantly at 1515 and at 60 degrees all the time for no reason. Have anyone noticed something simiral?

P.S I'm running win 10 x64, latest drivers on everything

Do you use after burner? Try loading a different profile or delete the current one. This could happen if you lock the clockspeed to operate at a certain volt.

thanks for your reply. It turned out that the problem was with the nvidia control panel, in the power management option it was selected to use maximum performance always, i changed it to adaptive and everything is normal now
